SHIPPING POLICY

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. We typically use Canada Post for shipping, as all of our products have arrived on time and in good condition. There is always the rare chance that something could go wrong during shipment and we can not guarantee anything during the shipping process. For this reason, we always recommend to purchase insurance with the shipment. If the buyer declines or refuses for insurance to be purchased, White Wood Design Studio is not liable and will not refund any damaged or lost products in any amount.

In the case that insurance is purchased and the product arrives damaged, the client must take the following steps:

1. Provide photos to Sara (shop owner) at White Wood Design Studio showing the damages, so that she may begin to work on a replacement. 

2. Sara will then file an insurance claim for the damaged product as long as it is under the following circumstances stated by Canada Post (or any other shipping company used): https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/kb/details.page?article=what_to_do_if_your_p&cattype=kb&cat=receiving&subcat=maildelivery 

PAYMENT POLICY

LOCAL PICKUP

We accept payment via e-transfer (whitewooddesignstudio@gmail.com). We also accept cash and square payments. We require a 50% deposit on all orders of $100 and under to begin working on the project. For orders $100 and over we require a 25% deposit to begin the project. The rest of the fee is due upon local pickup.

ETSY ORDERS

We require payment in full up front (including shipping fees) through Etsy. Once payment is received we will begin working on the project.

Shipping fees listed on Etsy automatically include shipping insurance for the protection of your item(s) in transit. 

RETURN POLICY

We will happily offer a full refund if we have not yet started working on your order. Please note, if we have started working on your project - we can only offer a partial refund as we would need to be compensated for our time. 

All completed custom and personalized orders do not qualify for a refund due to the custom essence of the item.

For damaged or lost items in the mail, we will offer a full refund or re-do of the item as long as the buyer agreed to purchase shipping insurance and the damaged photos were sent to White Wood Design Studio. Shipping insurance is purchased automatically unless the client specifically requests for it not to be added in the shipping costs.

In the case that the shipping insurance is requested not to be purchased, White Wood Design Studio can not offer a refund or re-do. 

QUOTES POLICY

All custom and personalized orders are priced based on the size and detail of the item. Quotes are based on the most current information given. Any changes or new requests made throughout the design process may require price changes from White Wood Design Studio.
